The Junior League of Evansville (JLE), is pleased to report that it has been selected once again as a nonprofit organization benefiting from a 20% give-back program as a “Fall Into Fashion” event on behalf of Dillard’s Department Store in the Eastland Mall.  Purchase tickets today!

September 18th 2016 from 6:30-9:00 pm Junior League of Evansville® (JLE), is pleased to report that it has been selected as a nonprofit organization benefitting from a 20% give-back program as a “Fall Into Fashion” event on behalf of Dillard’s Department Store in the Eastland Mall.

The local League is an organization of women which has positively impacted the Evansville, Indiana area since 1926.  JLE has been assessing and addressing community needs, and positively impacting Evansville’s most pressing issues including health, nutrition, teen issues, child and infant mortality, environmental awareness, and community enrichment.  More recently, the League is implementing projects which are aimed at improving local food security in the Evansville, Indiana area through accessible strategic partnerships and planned public nonprofit activities in 2016/2017

“Fall Into Fashion” will take place at Dillard’s Department Store located inside The Eastland Mall, 800 N. Green River Rd. The Junior League of Evansville will be accessing donations in the form of both $10.00 ticket sales and through the store wide give-back, while shoppers who have purchased their ticket will have the opportunity to enjoy a private VIP shopping experience among friends.  In addition, all “Fall Into Fashion” ticket purchasers will receive swag bags, and a chance at door prizes! The event will take place from 6:30-9pm and tickets for admission may be purchased from a JLE member, at Dillards, by calling Junior League of Evansville’s office (812-434-6710) or at the door for during the event.

The Junior League of Evansville will present a 2^nd live fashion project in autumn 2016, which will again benefit young women & girls in the YWCA’s Live Y’ers program. League members will provide a workshops, and “dress for success” mentorship, in addition to assisting at-risk girls in selecting outfits for professional life. Each girl will receive new clothing thanks to the generosity of Junior League of Evansville, the YWCA, and the community.

Junior League of Evansville extends its sincere thanks to Dillard’s for being our host in this third annual event, for giving back to JLE, and partnering to create a positive community impact in the Evansville, Indiana community.
